Denim Mom Fit Elasticated Waist Jeans (2-8 Years)

Trendy soft denim waist far too big wish they had buttons with elastic to pull in please add this feature

These were lovely jeans and a nice quality soft denim, however when my 5.5 years old daughter tried them on, they literally fell down to her ankles. The waist seems way too big, but the length perfect. Such a shame as had to send back.

My daughter is 6 going on 7 in January 2024 and I got her a size 7-8 and I normally go 8-9 for other clothes. The waist is loose with no adjustable straps. The length is just about her size(a bit jump up) and jeans looks too saggy in the wrong places for her. I would be happy if the waist size could be adjusted at least.

These are Spring/Summer Jeans - beware they are thin. I have kept them because they fit well on my shapely but short 7yo but I can’t imagine they’ll last long. A few weeks worth of playing outside and I can imagine they will tear easily…where’s the traditional thick denim gone M&S? I need hardwearing clothing for cold winter walks!
