Leather Tote Bag

I had watched this bag online for a few days before deciding to take the plunge. £119.00 isn't cheap so it was a considered purchase. It arrived in good time, but that's where the positives ended, For this amount of money, I would have expected it to be in a box at least, but it was just thrown into a black carrier which had a couple of holes in on delivery, I doubt this had anything to do with the delivery company. it just wasn't adequate for this Bag. On opening the black plastic bag, I found the actual item was in sore need of inspection. It was missing the pouch, and the packing inside the bag was definitely not u to standard.. The Leather was not up to the standard I expected. Please M&S more quality control needed. Sadly had to return for a full refund, which I am waiting on.

Great bag nice leather lots of pockets and an inner pouch bag. Perfect for what I needed it for.

Nice leather, base of bag too wide and feet to keep off the ground would have been good, handles a bit too chunky and short to use over shoulder in addition to hand carry. Handles needed to be more solid joining the bag to avoid wear. Brilliant pockets inside and out. Great magnetic closure. Overpriced. Returned this item.

i watched this bag in neutral for months and in the end purchased at full price, the next day it was 50% off and by i collected it down to £30! Totally spoilt it for me , if it can be reduced by so much the mark up is ridiculous. It had sold out so i couldnt even re buy at the sale price and return the original. Having said that it is a well thought out bag, lots of pockets and beautiful leather. I did in the end return it, its hard earned money to buy these more top end items and the equivalent of an £80.00 mark up is shocking.

I wanted a stone coloured tote style bag but unfortunately that colour seems to be in short supply at M&S this season. Nudes and pink shades seem to be in vogue. This bag, although expensive, should have fitted the bill but sadly not for me. The inaccurate description states it has zip fastening but the only zips are on internal pockets. In fact because the bag is completely open at the top without any type of fastening and its large size it is more like a shopping bag than a handbag. It would help if M&S checked online product information to prevent the time and money involved on their part and their customers being wasted!

At the risk of sounding like an old reminiscer … Autograph used to great bags that were an event in your life, and right out there with designer efforts in terms of style and leather quality. The last few years have featured thin leather and dreary styles. This one is a return to something much more special. The black looks quite ordinary from a distance(alongside many black bags), though close up you can appreciate the detail. The stone is awesome. Looks perfect in this colour. Mwah!
