Leather Lace-up Derby Shoes

Good value for money shoes; fit well, comfortable and look good. Difficult to comment on durability as only had for 1 week but so far very pleased!

I bought these because I already have these in blue and was very impressed with fit and comfort. They are are just as good in brown (or as M&S term it "conker").

Very comfortable and stylish. Money well spent. Will purchase a different shade now!

I wanted something to hit that smart/casual divide in my wardrobe, and these are just the job. Comfy and yet classy

I think these are a fantastic looking shoe but they're very narrow, I had to go up to max 12 and still to tight across my feet, where as I have another pair of M&S shoes that are soft and roomy as an 11. Also I could see they would be tough to break in but my heals got sliced to shreds in a 15 min walk to the shops, had to walk home on my toes to reduce the pain. And finally they rubber sole is good but has zero grip in the wet if you have weight on the heal, I slipped three times on manhole covers in that short walk, so avoid then and any smooth wet surface.

This was my first pair of shoes from M&S, I have always bought from a well known high street quality shoe shop. I really liked these to view especially the colour, I love blue shoes. However, they were awful, too tight, too narrow, horrible smell,noisy and they shredded my heels within a few minutes of wearing. I was really disappointed and walked to my favourite shoe retailer and bought a pair there. Should have done that in the first instance.

These shoes look really great. However looks are deceiving. Firstly the leather smells terrible. I left them out to get air hoping that the smell would dissipate. It doesn't. They smell worse when you wear them as the day goes by. They also squeak as you walk. And the leather won't break in. They remain really uncomfortable, and difficult to walk in. I don't normally write reviews but given the price of these shoes for the terrible quality, I needed to make my feelings known. There are better quality shoes out there at better prices.
