I have reviewed these shoes a few years ago (great shoe then) now these shoes are really small made and a poorer quality leather with a stiff heel ridge .MARKS AND SPENCER are really cutting quality nowadays pity .I went and read the reviews on these shoes TO32160 and I wish I had read before I purchased my latest pair ,MARKS are losing faithful customers by their cost cutting on quality ,I don't need to say but I will . The shoes GO back sale price of no sale price lol.walterm.

Purchased for my husband as thought might be more sturdy than the usual boat shoes he has and loves . But first wearing he got a blister as the backs of the shoes are v stiff leather , so not really pleased with them , hopefully they will soften up with wear .

Poor substiture for previous Blue Habour shoes

I've had 2 pairs of the Blue Harbour deck shoes which were greats but they have been replaced by this version. The quality appears OK on the surface but I've not been able to actually wear them ! This is because they are too small despite ordering the correct size, I believe another reviewer has published the dimensions to prove this. These will be returned and a pair purchased from another shop.

I have bought this type of shoe in the past and found them to be a good, solid, comfortable walking shoe. Not so this time. The design has changed, the leather is not soft and the shoe is far too narrow, even with a larger half- size. The thick, tubular band around the heel (not present in earlier models), caused blisters on both heels. I won't be buying these again.

I bought a pair of these shoes about 5 Years ago never had them off since ,wife bought me a new pair for christmas but only just tried them on now feb.what a disapointment. Very tight fit ,measured sole at widest point agaist my old pair 117mm new pair 108mm, both size 101/2 but also 10mm difference in the length, just to top it off when i step outside into daylight i find they are different colours ie one shoe much darker than the other. whilst the quality of materials appears to be as good as before the shoe is much smaller so if your inclined to purchace a pair bare this in mind.Has the manufacturer changed ??

I have been buying pairs of these shoes for years now. The first pair I had travelled the world, and I climbed sizeable hills in them. The second and third pairs did as well, and are now in comfortable retirement as gardening shoes. The fourth pair, still under the Blue Harbour brand were not quite as good as the stitching failed about halfway through the life of the soles. This pair, now under a different branding, are significantly lower in quality. The sole is a different material, the finish is poorer and the leather is a grade or so coarser. The latter means that the shoes will take longer to break in. I understand that M&S are facing economic problems in the clothing operation, and this is an indication of that. By lowering quality, all that M&S are doing is to drive me away from shopping with them. I am seemingly unusual in that I do normally buy product in store, and I have noticed a steady reduction in durability and quality of their products over the recent past. I will use these shoes, but I may not buy another pair in the future as my expectation of the use I will get out of them is reduced.

Very nice shoe, good quality materials but arrived with scratches on the leather in multiple places. I needed to wear the shoe that night so no chance to return the goods. Shame as the product is excellent quality otherwise.
