I have been seeing KeepCup everywhere and the idea of toughened lime glass seemed ideal to me because glass would not alter the taste of tea as plastic reusable cups do. This product is indeed all that is promises to be. Unfortunately, I tested it by pouring hot water in it as if I was about to make tea, and after 5-10 minutes, it was still too hot for me to handle. So, with a heavy heart, I had to return it and stick to my other reusable cup which is plastic and insulates me better. But everybody is different, what is too hot for me might be fine for someone else!

I was so pleased to see this cup in my local store the other day - I have had one for five years and I love it. I use it daily and it is still going strong. You have to hand wash it but it doesn't take long. It's made of soda lime glass so it's tough but light. It is a pleasure to drink from and I think that's the key to a reusable cup - if you love using it you'll remember to wash it and put it back in your bag.
