Jersey Metallic Pleated Midi Skirt

Fab Sale purchase! perfect Pewter, long length 96cm on me but easily shortened, 90cm would have been OK, no lining to alter so even better. A GLAM purchase for any time very comfortable. THx M&S.

I’m almost always a 12 at M&S, and tall at 5’ 10”. The 14L became available on this sell out skirt so I thought I’d give it a try. Sadly too big on the waist if I wanted to wear like in the picture with a top tucked in. And even if I hitched the skirt up to the smallest part of my waist, the hem was on my ankles. Absolutely would reorder in a 12R if it wasn’t sold out. Deducted one star as the side seam was a bit pulled, but gorgeous in every other way, if only it had fitted!

Ordered this skirt in a 14 regular and it's perfect. Love the colour and love pleated skirts. The regular comes about 2inches above my ankle bone which I prefer. I'm 5' 2". More like this please M&S very swishy, highly recommend xx

I treated myself to this skirt to wear on Christmas Day this year and am not going to fib, have already worn it a couple of times as it is so comfy. It really is eye catching too. The colour is more of a pewter than a black and the pleats fall beautifully down the length of the skirt. I am already getting double duty out of it as I have worn it dressed up with heels, and dressed down with boots and both times, felt great. You don't need an underskirt with it as the jersey fabric is very thick and the skirt is quite warm too. Very pleased with my purchase.

Great skirt just as expected. A little more shiny than I thought but perfect for dressing up. I'm tall and ordered the regular length which is perfect as other reviews warned long length was ankle length.

this skirt is more maxi than midi. I bought size 10 L which was a perfect fit on me but longer than expected. It measured 90 cm from waist to hem. The product description above states that a size 12 measures 84 cm long. This shorter length would I surmise have fallen to a very elegant mid calf on me. That said, given that I am tall, I am very happy with the ankle length size 10 L. It is shimmery and flowing. And romantic and dramatic if worn over a petticoat by way of creating a fuller silhouette. Gorgeous!!!

I love the colour and swish of this skirt I bought the longer length simply because I didn’t know exactly how long it would be! Rather than send it back for the shorter version I have shortened it myself and it is absolutely fine. However, when the description says long or standard length an actual measurement would be a great help in determining which length to purchase.

It is a very nice skirt and fitted well but , although I ordered regular after reading the reviews , it still came down to my ankles . I am of average height and to my mind there is no way this is a midi skirt . I returned it
