Excellent product. Ideal in this cold weather and still warm and cosy without the electric heater on.

Not the prettiest thing you've ever seen - but does the job when the heating just isn't enough

Bought this to keep me warm in the office while working at home, to save money on heating bills. Wow, what a difference this makes. Warm and snug to wear even without switching on the heat. Would highly recommend. In fact about 4 of my friends are now going to buy one!

Excellent buy for working from home
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
Unbelievably warm and cosy, haven’t needed to turn on the element yet even in the cold spell we had. Perfect for working from home, better than my heated gilet by far, so a good buy. My only gripe is that it is truely enormous! And looks ridiculous as it swamps me but it’s worth it for the warmth!!

Snug as a bug in a rug.

I love this and it’s so cozy. I only wish it was easier to detach the plug to get up and move around. I also would love it if it buttoned down the front to take it off more easily and quickly to answer a work call looking less like a polar bear. Deducted one star to just reflect those points but it absolutely serves the intended purpose of keeping me snug.

A bit restrictive with the cord. Not all over warmth. Probably wouldn’t buy again or recommend.

Heated hooded blanket

I love this hooded blanket it is very cofrtable though sometimes too hot! I have given four stars because of the difficulty I have detaching the connection to the blaanket. Just now I have only plugged it in to check that it was working ok but not been cold enough to use it properly so far.

I bought this item as one price then MandS cancelled my order and increased the price. So when I went to re-order it, the price was higher. How convenient of them.

Cosy product. Very big for my teenager. Tricky to disconnect plug attached to hoodie.

I might never leave my desk again. For 2 reasons:

First reason is - it's so warm and cosy and not cumbersome when sat at a desk. It's just lovely. A blast of heat is great and then I put it down to setting 1 or turn it off - it holds the heat. Keeps me warm. Saves on heating the whole house when I'm working from home. Second reason I might not leave my desk is because it's plug in rather than a battery pack. Which isn't a deal breaker. But the plug in bit is. It's very difficult to unplug from it's socket on the blanket itself (not the wall plug). My mum (aged 75) wanted to get one, but after trying to unplug mine from the blanket a few times, she decided not to. She could I suppose unplug it from the wall and tuck the lead into the pocket at the front - but she's already at risk of falls - and she was concerned this would increase her risk. That tricky unplug bit is the only reason it loses a star. It is very big (I'm a dress size 8), so wearing it around the house is a challenge. So not recommended for that. Definitely more of a stationary thing. Rather than for chores, cooking dinner, minding the kids etc. Bought with 20% off bedding promotion.

cosy and very warm, difficult to detach the plug and therefore cumbersome to have to carry that around in the pouch if you want to go and make a cup of tea or something

So lovely and soft and snuggly. The pockets are nice too. Handy when working as hands free. Exactly what I was looking for having fallen in love with normal heated blankets

Quite simply the best thing I've ever bought... it's huge, even wearing it without turning on the heat makes a significant difference.

Looks good, easy to wear and use
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
Compared to comparable items, it looks pretty good on. Comfortable and cosy even when not plugged in. Heats quickly and comfortably. The wire and plug stash into the front pouch when not plugged in so you can move about. My one critique is that this could be velcroable as plug and lead can otherwise easily fall out as you do normal activities such as answer the door. Otherwise a very good and effective way to keep warm.

Good but could be better

No, I don't recommend this
Good but as others have mentioned having the lead connection at the back (and quite stiff) makes it difficult to quickly and easily access - which is a shame as makes it a pain to use and when want to move away and come back to the desk!
