Jersey Gingham V-Neck Midi Tailored Dress

Excellent quality excellent product just a little to small for me

't I read the reviews before I purchased and many stated this dress was wide across the hips. It is, but so am I so it fits perfectly! Nice mid-thickness material, good for a spring or warm autumn day. Stylish. I haven't actually washed it yet but couldn't select that option.

When I'm wearing this dress, to speak to me youd have to go through my agent! That's how great I feel in it! Very classy, very feminine. It's a power dress. Only problem is it runs a bit big. I think I could have gotten away with a size down. Otherwise its all round fabulous. I saw another reviewer say M&S dresses are for pear shaped people. That review actually made me buy it immediately. Love that it flatters my curves nicely. Not often do I find clothes that do that.

I used to always buy their £35 dresses every summer 20 or so years ago bur have failed for many years to find the same style and quality until now - a great classic pull it on and look good in it dress - a lining would have been nice but, at that price , I’m prepared to forego it !

I saw this dress online,it was just what I wanted. I ordered up a size,seems just right,very comfortable.I am pleased with this dress,and I look forward to wearing it. Not sure about washing yet.

I am very slim 5'6, usually take10 top & 8 bottom. Ordered size 10 & it looks as if it had been tailor-made for me! Great style and length. Fabric is medium weight so ideal for spring.

I bought this dress and matching jacket with 20% off - a bargain. I ordered my usual size 10 and whilst the jacket fits well the dress is very strange. The bust is a standard size 10 but the hips are more like a size 14. So much surplus material in the skirt! Sadly I have had to return the dress but have kept the jacket which will go well with lots of my other clothes

As with all tailored dresses, I have to buy a 14 over 12. Great work dress with 20% discount. Shame no plain blue jacket to match.

I was so looking forward to trying this on at home but I was disappointed. I forgot that M&S make clothes for very pear shaped women and those with an hourglass figure, which is not me. For me it was too tight on the waist and too big on the hips. The material is quite thick so it may be too hot for a summers day for work. A lovely style but shame about the fit, so I sent it back.

I love the style of this dress which has a very flattering fit for my size 12 , 5' 8" frame. The material is a nice thickness for a spring dress so it would have filled the seasonal gap if it wasn't for the huge pointy hips. I've never met anyone who has hips this shape (!)- it's just bad finishing that's I've seen on cheap products over the years. Such a shame as I really wanted to buy this dress but have now returned it.
