Too short

It's good quality, thick material but if you have big balls and move around a lot, they will pop out.

Good quality but bought as had no option.
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
The hipsters are good but they were bought because the trunks I normally buy and much prefer now have an additional pouch cut out I suppose for men to use in the bathroom. This is an unwanted change, it adds unnecessary bulk and ruins the aesthetic appearance of what was very good trunks. If m&s want to make a trunk with the pouch then they really should offer both options with and without. The hipsters must be worn very low to avoid being uncomfortable. Trunks are better, please make the original available again. Have been a loyal m&s customer for decades...

Nice design, shame about the overlocking stitches.

Nice product, but its a shame the overlocking stitches irritate the skin! MUCH more comfortable to wear the article inside out! All that needs to be done to rectify the prob, is to print label on, what is now, the outside of the garment. ... then maybe 4 or 5 stars!!!!

Why can't Marks & Spencer be consistent sizing ?
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
Yes, I recommend this
I've using this style of underwear for years, suddenly I need to buy a size larger. My body size hasn't changed, in fact I've lost weight. The sizing issue is right across the range of mens clothing. Because of this I rarely buy new clothing from Marks now, too much hassle returning stuff ( and the bar code for returning goods never works for me )

Not all changes are for the best

I'm not sure whether the product has changed or whether I've changed - but the fit on these is awful. When I've bought them previously, they've been great but now they seem to go baggy and loose very quickly, leading to - what I can only describe as - a lack of control. And that makes them very uncomfortable. The material seems OK, but the fit is awful. And that really matters. As they have "added stretch", I'd expect them to keep their shape (and keep everything in order), but apparently not. Back to trunks for me.

Good material with a little stretch. Nice design. Husband tells me they are comfy to wear. Wash well. Would recommend.

Not the same as the product image and too small
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
No, I don't recommend this
I have worn these for years and these are NOT the same as the product image. the legs barely come below the gusset. They are closer to briefs than hipsters! The fabric quality is below par and the sizing is very much on the small size. I have never felt the need to complain or write a review but these are not the usual M&S standard at all.

Have previously bought and been VERY happy with M&S trunks. But tried this product for a change. Usual M&S high standard as expected. But, product not to my liking as too short in the leg with insufficiently tension in the leg, offering little support for my "my bits! I have worn only one of the 5 pairs from this pack.

Rubbish , skimped on fabric but not on price.

Very disappointed with the trunks, poor quality, skimped on fabric and just cheap & nasty.will be returning them to my local store. The legs are over 11/2inch shorter than the pants I bought in May 22, my husband said they were extremely uncomfortable and you need your undies to be comfortable.

Barely fit-for-purpose

been buying these for years but quality has gone..... probably some attempt by Jacinda in Product Development to cut cost but maintain price-point. Absolute rubbish...cotton is so thin they're see-through - photographic evidence is available. And yes - before you ask I have weighed them in comparison with an old pair - this conclusion is based on fact. On the plus side less cotton has been harmed in the making of these pants.

A bit shorter

Replacing some hipsters previously bought. These hipsters are a bit shorter in the leg than the previous ones. My husband says it’s not a problem and they are still comfortable.

Good quality material - as you’d expect. The Medium Size was a-little on the small size for me (33”) but liveable.

I bought these as I had always bought XL but recently, found their fit far smaller than before, so I got some 2XL instead. They fit better but are way too baggy to be supportive in any way so have been a complete waste of money. I'm now buying a similar style item from Sainsbury's TU range.
