I have previously had m&s light flow high leg period pants and moderate & heavy bikini style ones. I was expecting these to be similar to the high leg ones I had before but with thicker pad area, boy was I wrong the back of these are huge, looks more like a 12 than an 8 the amount of material there. Compared to my other pants they come a good 2 inches higher up my back which is not ideal, as others mentioned the fabric on knickers themselves a bit thin and for me the heavy pad is too thick but there never seem to be any light or moderate ones available in a style I like in my size so got these to compliment the ones I already own. If you like big knickers at the back but high leg in front I guess they are fine but if you were hoping for something you'd feel good in and wouldn't show above your waistband probably not for you. I'm keeping them as can use to sleep in, the higher leg at the front reduces chaffing compared to the bikini style for me, leakage wise this isn't an issue as I am using for discharge due to surgery not period as a I no longer bleed. As you can see from the photos this style is more similar to bikini at the back but with a higher waistband. So I presume the pattern was taken from these and similar for the styles rather than my old pair which must have been from a different run/pattern (sadly no longer available)

I have only worn them once so far but they washed well and gave me a bit of extra confidence without having to wear a pad for little leaks.

Overall I'm happy with them. Comfortable to wear, easy to wash and dry quickly. Only down side was I had to wait until the day 3 or 4 before feeling comfortable wearing them due to the limited covering area. It'd be great if the padding could be extended to cover the entire back section for overnight wear.

These are extremely good better than I thought they would be . As I am of a certain age bladder weakness is a real problem . No more buying pads !! They last very well throughout the day and I feel confident going out in them . I don't think they would be very good though if you were to have a major leak. The only thing I would say is that I prefer a high leg personally but found they do not stay up over my tummy shelf ! so will probably order the full briefs next time

Exactly what I wanted. After a traumatic birth, I no longer use tampons and pads are uncomfortable. These are a great solution. I’ll buy the more absorbent ones next time.

Great for leaky bladders and a good fit. Really comfortable to wear not bulky at all and wash well too.

Very useful for ladies with irritable bladder as well as for periods

I have long since stopped having periods. But found these knickers very useful for oops moments. ( coughing sneezing, laughing etc) Maybe M&S you could rebrand or introduce a similar product for those moments. 😉
