I bought this in a panic two days before a 10k for which the weather forecast was pouring rain all day. It arrived at my local store less than 24 hours after I placed the order, and I’m so glad I got it in time. I can confirm it is fully waterproof, the rest of me was absolutely drenched with puddles in my shoes due to ages spent standing around before the run, but the coat kept my body dry and the extra length kept my bottom dry too although the rain did start to soak back up. I made a mistake and wore gloves which had to be wrung out at the end and they caused the wet to seep up inside the coat sleeve quite a way but I’ll know next time. It was cold and I’m slow so I didn’t really work up a sweat and can’t comment on its breathable qualities yet but it’s way better than a normal cagoule. It’s a nice lilac-ey grey colour too, in summary I love it and thoroughly recommend it.

Love this jacket so versatile, and if like me you get over heated easily the vents are a game changer . I got a size bigger so I can put jumper underneath if I want to but it has waist pulls so can cinch it in also .
