My husband loves pleated trousers with turn ups but we've been unable to find any for a long time. These M&S trousers are fabulous, he loves them ... I bought him the black, stone, and slate ones - also navy ones but they were bigger in size even though I'd ordered the same size and they were labelled the same, they just did not fit as well. But they're great quality and look fantastic, so he's really happy with his 3 pairs of trousers :)

Disappointed

No, I don't recommend this
I returned this as I wanted 100% cotton. It contained a large proportion of stretch fabric which does not allow the fabric to drape well

Not very tapered
No, I don't recommend this
These chinos are described as Tapered but still very baggy at the bottom, which doesn’t give them a nice shape

Nicely tailored and a good fit although I didn’t pick up when ordering that the trousers had turn ups

A great cut I want to be able to buy for years.

All chinos ought to be cut like this. With any luck, M&S will never stop stocking these trousers. Super comfortable, and a welcome move away from making every pair of trousers skinny-cut.

So good to see twin pleated trousers, not many retailers offer this style. Good quality material, nice fit with a small turn up. Liked them so much, bought them in 2 colours.

The comfortable fit is welcome. The styling is retro. The material is soft and stretchy. A well made trouser!

Smart casual chinos in a relaxed, almost vintage, style. So pleased with the first pair that I bought them in another colour.

At long last a return to trousers with pleats and leg room. I like the difference combinations of waist and leg length too

Nice fit - hate the roll up

Really nice trouser in terms of fit and material. However, the forced stitch of the turn up makes it difficult to wear in more formal settings. The stitch can’t be undone either as there’s marks behind

Great cut and generally good fit. I'd have prefered a shade shorter in the leg but that's probably just my lack of height! Nice to find pleated and roomy trousers returning!

Purchased these as I do 40s 50s dancing events and these are of that era style, they have a turnup and are quite wide fitting, quite like the peg style of that era.

At long last M & S have produced a smart casual trouser with a material that isn't virtually 100% cotton (which whilst comfortable, does crease badly as we all know). These trousers are comfortable and reasonably crease resistant, but look smart. Well done.
