Bought for my husband and he loves them. The leg is a slim fit which give them a smart modern look. Well done M&S for clothing the larger man

Regular Fit, lightweight men’s chinos

Lovely colour and good fit. Problem is they crease so badly, even ironing them was a problem. Don’t know how they will look when taken out the suitcase

Usually plenty waist room with 40” but found the waist a bit tight. Disappointed to find no secure back pockets ie no butttons , so returned the garment .

I wear M&S lightweight chinos most of the year and have bought many pairs over the last few years. Sadly, as other have noted, the quality has deteriorated recently. This seems to be a pattern - the result of penny pinching I suspect. There was a time when I was happy to buy almost everything except shoes from M&S, now… dodgy quality control on underwear, spectacularly dull socks. I know times are tough and shops are plagued by thieves and chancers, but my business is gradually drifting elsewhere. Sad.

The Chinos are a good fit and look good. I have one problem, the pockets are not square, they taper. This results in coins falling form the pocket when I am sat down. Coins fall into my car well, or down the side of my lounge chairs. The pocket base should be of equal length! Look at the massive back pockets. I had planned to post photos but this option is greyed out.

Not the quality I would expect from M&S.

Gone are the days when you knew that clothes from M&S where well mad. Know it is a lottery, what far flung part of the would where they made. Bring back good old british made. Although you pay fpr quality.
