Bought via delivery . Lovely mugs. No damage etc but I think they must have been in storage for a while were very dust(black dust) inside Needed to wash them but no big deal

If I had had the time I would have brought them back. One mug was clearly faulty - it had what would have been a chip in it - but was varnished over. So so disappointed! It was an obvious fault - but had to give as a wedding present. It had a label on the bottom saying it had been checked - but .... How could such an obvious fault be missed. I know it's not your merchandise M&S but maybe it could have been double checked???
