Both style and material are perfect. The material is lovely and soft and very flexible which on a growing girl is very much needed. The only downside is that I have had to buy age 16-17 when my child is only 10! The sizing for children is totally wrong even to the school socks which come up incredibly small.

My daughter is normally bang-on for age v size at M&S. She's 10.5 years old. We bought 10-11 which we returned as too big. We then bought 9-10 which was also too big. Can't be bothered to return again so will nip the waist in a little. I suspect in these she really needed 8-9. Frustrating.

Love this as stretchy. After reading reviews I ordered size 12-13 for my larger than average 8.5 year old and it fit perfectly and was knee length. My daughter loves it and says it’s comfortable.

Good length. Sizing appropriate & in line with size guide. Nice washable material. Minimal creasing.
