These are excellent holiday and weekend trousers, smart enough for the pub or days out but lightweight and casual enough for holidays. The fact that M&S now fit belt hoops is an important feature, which allows the use of a belt, which is far better than relying on the elasticated waist. And of course it looks so much better.

leg length with too short or too long

The chinos are okay but I find the material heavy and does not hang well on the leg. The waist fit is good but as always the leg length does not fit. My required length is 30" so I have to wear too short or turn up the leg. There are times where I look elsewhere for trousers for skis reason.

The half elasticated chinos were purchased purley for casual wear, the half elasticated waist is great but the trousers are too tight and narrow so unfortunately will have be returned.

I am very happy with the quality of the quality of the product They we’re a little too long in the leg , it’s a pity that you don’t sell the 27” leg anymore.But I have taken them to be shortened at a seamstress.Which of course I will have to pay.ASI got them at sale price.It cancels out the extra charge.
