I really love these linen trousers. Lovely quality fabric and a great pleat top style. The lady on the checkout told me that the customer before me was returning two pairs of the same trousers as the waist was too small which seemed to be a common theme with them. I was already sizing up and buying the short length so they were fine. I’m HS size 22 and bought size 14 short and they’re a good fit. Bought them in chocolate and navy and they look expensive.

The belt is a bit of thin linen. The " tapered " trousers could not disguise the fact that they are the ubiquitous grunge baggy overlong flares that I hate. Quite apart that they lethal to wear, unflattering, and ugly. I have tampered with them, but won' wear them much. They are too baggy and uncomfortable.

Comfortable to wear and nice quality. Have not been washed yet so cannot comment on that. As usual sizing differs. I have one white pair which fit perfectly size 12. But the navy 12 was impossible to do up and I had to get the 14

I bought these trousers because the price was so good. Having worn them a couple of times I bought a second pair but went for the long fit which does look better on me. They are very easy to wear, very casual.

I have various linen trousers from M&S but these are more tailored as they have a zip with belt loops. It gives a much more polished look but size up as the waist is neat. Would highly recommend
