This is such a lovely quality duvet set, a great colour, and the stripe and frill look great in my decor. I’m not sure why some reviewers are saying it’s rough… it’s cotton and the closeup photos show that there is an irregularity to the yarn but is more of a linen feel rather than a high thread count smooth. It feels quite comfortable and crisp next to my skin and in the last few days of warm weather, has kept me cool too. I may have to buy another as a spare - I’m not sure I could do without this one!

I saw this bedding set on a display in my local store and thought how simple and pretty it looked. It’s a great price for a 100% cotton set and washes well. I would agree with the reviewer that said it isn’t as soft as it could be but I think it’ll soften up the more it’s laundered.

I bought this after redecorating my bedroom, I wanted something neutral but not entirely plain - this is perfect. The fabric quality is excellent and it doesn't feel like it will go bobbly. I was concerned the frills would be annoying, but they aren't noticeable. I tried to buy another identical set, but unfortunately its out of stock - I hope it comes back.

I did read the reviews before I purchased the set, perhaps should have taken notice of buyers who said they are not too smooth! The colour is crisp & the frill does add to the appeal, however I shall be washing it to see if it softens as it is for a spare bed.

I haven't washed it yet, so can't comment on how it stands up to being laundered or whether it creases much. However, it currently looks good and feels good and perfectly fits my duvet (also from M&S).
