Pure Cotton Barrel Leg trouser

Great trousers, I bought two pairs, one in long so I could have a turn up and one regular. Bit odd that the fly is the wrong way round (it’s sewn in the same way as a men’s trouser, rather than women’s), but once I got used to that it was ok :) Would be great in a caramel colour or navy.

Petite fit just right length and fabric is really soft

I love these trousers. I wore them to a job interview and got the job! Really smart, stylish but not too formal, very comfortable. I’m 5ft 4in and bought the shirt length…perfect for me.

Bought the black and the khaki online after seeing in store. Had to size up as normal 14 returned due to small waist in this design. I have already got new season barrels from another high street store and they fit lovely in a 14, so not overjoyed to go up a size for m&s but didnt take a star off as these days sizing is all over the place. The cut is flattering, material good quality. Who knew that barrel leg trousers would be so flattering. Purchased some leather loafers and ballerina pumps to complete my new Autumn look, as lots of my long sleeved stripey fitted tops have now got a purpose.

Really flattering trousers, normally not able to tuck tops in but these look nice if I do, and they are short enough. Interestingly as per other reviewers the khaki are a lot smaller and I had to size up.

I love these- so comfortable and with flattering barrel legs, they are very versatile and you can add all sorts of tops. I got black for when it starts to get cooler in the autumn

Really good quality and good value. Sit at a nice height on the waist and the short option was perfect for 5ft 5.

M& S are on of the few that do a extra short length so i always check to see whats on offer. These barrel trousers are a lovely thick cotton and exactly the right leg. Unfortunately the waist sizing wasnt. Im a 10 pretty much every shop but an M&S size 10 is clearly something different and not in a good way. These are lovely trousers but you will need to size up, possibly by 2 sizes. These trousers are also fit like a low rise but clearly aren't. Please can you just sort out your sizing!

Very nice trousers. Would be even better if a bit higher on waist. Perhaps size up-I found such variation in M&S trousers-sometimes a 16 was huge other times not!

I bought these recently. They’re a bit too heavy for this weather. Will be good for autumn. Good quality cotton, and a good alternative to jeans. Fairly generous sizing, petite length perfect for me 5ft 2.

As always with M&S great fit and length. The colour is a deep khaki which makes them look more luxurious.

I bought a size16 and struggled to get them done up. I had to get an 18. Even these were tight around the waste. I've bought a lot of M&S clothes but found sizing has changed and not for the good. The trousers themselves are wide leg and do look smart for casual wear.

These trousers are gorgeous! I love the style of barrel leg trousers as they are so flattering. I bough both colours and interestingly I needed the smaller size in the black. Absolutely love theee trousers. Can’t wait to wear them.

Had to buy these to replace original order of size 14 as they didn’t fit. Lovely trousers. But I bought them in a size 14 last year, they still fit perfectly and are really nice so I bought some more this year only to find a 14 didn’t fit. M&S used to be so reliable but now their sizing is not to be relied upon. Very annoying when you don’t live close to a store.
