Pure Cotton Embroidered Waisted Maxi Dress

Liked this dress but it was just too tight under the arms. Very full in skirt but would probably have kept it if it had fit.

I ordered this dress because it is made of cotton, and lined, also the majority of reviews were favourable. I ordered my normal size 10 but found the top quite generous. The navy colour was dull on me and I felt it did not do justice to the pattern of the dress. Had it been in a brighter colour with a neater fit on top I would have been tempted to keep it.

Lovely colour and length must like this material this is the fourth dress I have brought.

I bought this dress for a solemn occasion but also wore it to an 80th party too. It is just what I wanted without having to wear black but equally being respectful. Like I say it is also a dress for happy occasions too. Reminiscent of my 1980’s broderie anglais era with the tiered skirt.Made me feel young.

Lovely dress and true to the picture. I really wanted to keep it but the length just not right for me (5.6) I would have preferred it longer. I went the size up but then too big on top and not much longer.

Beautiful colour, fits nicely around the bust area and a great length (I'm 5ft10). I went for a size 14 and it fits perfectly.

Love this dress. Fabric hangs well and lining helps it feel good quality. Size perfect for me. Flattering fit. Look forward to wearing it.

Nice design, but poor fit, heavy material that just hung on me. Waist far too low, but maybe because I have a small bust. Will be returning

Bought this dress for a wedding but it was too cold to wear for an outdoor reception! Loved the fabric, looks expensive and well cut over the bodice. Really liked a lined dress as fabric sits better and overall the dress is more comfortable. I am 5'7" tall and bought a regular length. Whilst thus is called a maxi dress the length on me was about 5" above my ankle bone, perfect for not sweeping the floor with your dress hem. Would like M&S to sell more cotton items like this and for this dress to be in lighter colours as well.
