Pure Cotton Embroidered Waisted Maxi Dress

Saw this dress on line and fell in love with it immediately. Fits beautifully on the top but the length far too long. I'm going to keep it and have it altered.

I purchased the dress on-line in the sale so it was excellent value. Arrived in store on the day specified. It looks great on, especially with a suntan - it will be perfect on holiday, can be dressed down with flats for daytime or wedges for the evening. Really well made with a cotton slip underneath, I would highly recommend. Well done M&S Fits true to size, I'm 5ft 8In and its definitely maxi-length.

Wanted something light and comfortable for holidays but this is very heavy as it’s fully lined, Much to young for me very girly. Fit and fabric nice enough, still not cheap in sale but certainly not worth nearly £80 normal price

Gorgeous summer dress/ holiday dress, I’m only short 5’4” & it’s the perfect length on me. Bought a 12 & maybe could’ve got away with a 10 but having purchased in the sale I decided to keep it.

A quality outfit inclusive of lining and true to sizing label. It hangs well and hides a few tyres but without looking baggy. I believe the frill at the bottom would be better half the length making it a midi, not maxi outfit which would make it more ideal for more outings but that is my only negative. Cant wait to wear it on our forthcoming cruise.

I have been wanting to buy it when I seen it advertised in the Sunday Daily mail magazine YOU dated 12 MAY 2019. It was advertised as Autograph not M&S Collection, ordered 18 and 20, both big, managed to get 16. Just love the material (Hakoba).

This is a well made pure cotton summer dress. I ordered in two sizes, 10 and 12 and ended up keeping size 10 as 12 bagged slightly in the bust area. I am approx 5'6" and the dress just covers my ankles. It is fully lined in cotton which falls to about 2" above the bottom of the dress. The scalloped hem is very eye catching. The dress hangs beautifully due to the full lining. I will wear with gold strappy sandles just purchased from M&S. It's a versatile dress and can be worn during the day as well as for an evening out. I hope M&S will have more of these stylish well made dresses in natural fabrics. Highly recommend!

Ordered this dress in my usual size 18. I am 5ft 7in but the dress had way too much material in it for a summer dress. It was also very long would be nice with wedges but too long with flip flops. Expensive at full price good value at sale price unfortunately I had to return it

I wore this dress once and when doing the zip up it completely broke so dress is now unwearable. I expected much better quality from m and s. Very sad as otherwise it's a really great dress.

The dress is lovely and cool and airey to wear. It has a flattering shape - skimming over tummy. Very nice quality fabric I have discovered you can tuck the shoulder straps in and wear it as a strapless dress when you want to tan shoulders. When it arrived I thought it looked too long and wasn't going to try it on but it is one of those dresses that looks much nicer on and I am so glad I tried it. I fell in love with it and I look forward to wearing it all summer. I bought an M&S denim jacket to wear with it and am pleased with that too.
