Polka Dot Plisse Midi Straight Skirt

I love this skirt. It is very comfortable and the graduated pleats make it very flattering to my shape.

Purchased online last week in sale. Was just as described nice quality material and finish.

Bought to wear Christmas Day, which I did was very comfortable

Love this skirt and got it at the reduced price so a bargain!! Hangs nicely and a good length and so comfy to wear. I like it with chunky boots as shown by the model but will wear it with a longer top as unfortunately I'm not the same size as the model

Not often I buy skirts but this one ticks all the boxes. Good quality, great fit and the style is flattering (even on my larger frame). Looks great with boots or heels, jumpers or tops. So versatile, have bought in both colours. This is M&S at it best.

I usually avoid skirts pleated from the waist as they tend to make you look bigger. However, they’re currently fashionable and this item has very tiny pleats at the top which is good. So it’s fairly skimming and sways nicely when you walk. I’d been looking for a midi skirt for some time and this one is the best I’ve found. I plan to wear it with a black jumper but can dress it up by wearing it with a deep purple velvet top over Christmas. It looks very good with black kitten heeled ankle boots and either black opaque tights or thin clear tights. It’s lightweight so I’ll wear it during warmer months with a black or colour t.shirt and flat gold sandals or wedges.A good piece that I’ll wear again and again. Also it looks like it won’t crease which is always good.

Pleated skirts usually look frumpy on me but this plisse material is perfect. The polka dot is not overpowering either. A great skirt for Autumn that can be dressy or casual. I really like it.

Regret I have yet again sent back a skirt. I hadn't been sure when I saw it online but interested enough to want to see it. I was pleased with the longer length, lined and only fine pleating at the elasticated waist. Big pleats emphasise my rounded tummy. I walked around at home staring in long mirrors & then hung it up to look at it for a couple of days trying to decide. I was not convinced the pleating further down would stay in place which gives it the smart look. Personally, for me, decided not worth the full price as it didn't fulfill wanting something new for the winter but this was the nearest I had seen. Depends on what you want from a skirt this time of year. I will continue to wear over the colder months the lovely M&S heavy and lined quality maxi skirts I bought over a few years which I can curl up in and not need to scramble into tights. .

I never wear skirts but had to have surgery so can’t wear trousers for 6 weeks . I bought it on line as an experiment and am very pleased .
