PETITE Linen Floral V-Neck Shift Dress

This is quite a pretty dress but it is supposed to be a Petite Size 6. The length was much too long and it was a bit big overall. Have bought 2 dresses before very similar to this whi ch fitted well which was why I ordered this dress but this dress was larger than them.

I ordered the dress on a whim in the sale purely for its petite size, price and colour thinking it was black like on my iPad screen without reading the description properly. Only realised sometime later after ordered for collection did I read it was navy! Anyway, I was having 2nd thought thinking about it and plus if the size of the patterns on the dress would overwhelm my petite frame. I read it somewhere that patterns on a dress for a petite height should be small to compliment the wearer size, otherwise could make the person more smaller. Needn't have worried, the dress is perfect in every sense of the word and you could dress it up and down with lots of things in your wardrobe. One thing though is M&S has so many lovely dresses to offer at the moment and just wish most are not limited to those with blessed height. Please think about the those who are petite, we are just into fashion as much as they. In fact, I came from a fashion design background, so I like lots of things and not into frumpy styles that seemed to be quite popular for your petite range. Now can we have more great clothes please???? Thank you.

Quite a pretty dress, bu5 not very flattering on me so I returned it.

I don’t buy many dresses because of my size, but this me perfectly. Not sure how it will wash, have not worn because summer has diappeared
