I’m 5’8, and hover between a 10/12. The 12R were huge and ballooned on me in the waist and leg, but I couldn’t get the 10L over my hips. Decent quality fabric.

Love that these come in an extra short, they fit well on the legs (I'm 5ft) but they have a strange pleat either side of the centre of the front waistband which adds an extra curved shape just below the elastic. This might look really nice if you have a flat lower stomach, but it seems odd to add extra curve and attention to an area many want to hide or flatter with their clothing. Had to send back for this reason, was not flattering at all unlike some of the other high-waisted wide leg trousers available from M&s that just skim past that area.
