I got this with 20% off or probably wouldn’t have tried it as purchasing online. Glad I did. Lovely soft and my husband thought it looked ’sexy’😜. Probably a nice change from those bulky dressing gown as I am only 5.1 -so its ankle length on me but thats ok. Quite elegant actually. I normally am size 8 and small would have been perfect but I ordered medium to have more wrap around as one reviewer said and in case of shrinking because of the wool and cashmere content. Washes very well- no shrinkage! Think this will be a lovely warm elegant robe for years to come.

I saw this dressing gown online , I knew I had to have it . It’s just a perfect weight of wool it feels soft and luxurious and very comfortable to wear , it is bobbling a bit but this can easily be removed. The length comes to my ankles I am 5”3 . I’ve not washed it yet but I don’t think there should be a problem with that as all M&S knitwear has never caused a problem. I am so pleased there is an alternative to fleece fabric which I dislike. . Very pleased with my purchase.

A substitute for the pure cashmere dresssing gown I would never feel comfortable spending so much money on. But this looks good, is comfortable, soft and warm and will be great to wear over clothing as well as nightwear on a cool evening. It’s not generously cut so if you want to really wrap around you should size up. But at 5’10’’ it is a good mid-calf length and a slightly grey beige- think porridge that works well with all the neutral nightwear at M and S. So many warm gowns lack elegance but not this.
