Much better than I expected for the price. Excellent little frying pan with egg poaching inserts. Every home should have one, as they used to decades ago!

Given the keen price compared with other makes, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and good cooking qualities this had. Thank you M&S!

Perfect “poached” eggs

Great little pan, the clear lid takes the guess work out of poaching eggs and they’ve been perfect every time. Really pleased with this, great price and it’s used a few times a week.

Excellent value, poaches four eggs perfectly. Adds variety to breakfast. I bought two poachers, one as a gift for my daughter and family. They now eat more eggs. Protein at a reasonable price.

Good Product

Excellent little pan for the cost. The plate that the cups sit on gets discoloured quite quickly but overall it does the job! Would thoroughly recommend if you don't want to spend fortune on the posh ones.

A good little poacher

I went ahead and ordered this despite some of the negative reviews and was so glad I did. A small amount of oil in the containers ensures the eggs release freely. Added water to the pan so it was just touching the bottom of the holders, brought to boil and left it to simmer....perfect poached eggs after 5.5 minutes.

Dreadful egg poacher, waste of money
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
No, I don't recommend this
Do not waste your money on this as it was so very bad to use, the water kept going onto the egg and it was only a small amount of water in the pan it was like eating a soaking wet egg.

DISAPPOINTING - WOULD NOT BUY

No, I don't recommend this
Very disappointed with the quality. The pan is fine but the metal cup holder is very flimsy and thin and discoloured on the first use. The pan is very shallow so the water boils over into the egg cups and makes a mess and is difficult to clean. It is fiddly to get the eggs into the cups and even more fiddly to get the cups out of the metal holder as the handles are so small. I would not recommend this product.

This is my 3rd M&S poacher. I've used them for years, thoroughly recommend but remember to put water in the pan before you turn on the heat! This one like my first one is the cheaper of the two designs and the more expensive one I had, the omelette pan is unscathed so still have it.
