Marks and Spencer gift cards are my usual go to for an easy way to send a nice gift. I have knocked a star off as the gift card did not send immediately and I had to contact the customer service department to check on progress - 40 minutes of my life I won’t get back as well as additional call charges on my phone.

I thought sending email vouchers would mean a really quick way to send someone a gift, but they took 72hours to arrive, which in my view is fat too long. However when I rang m&s chasing the vouchers the assitant was very helpful and the vouchers then went through immediately.

Friend from overseas was in a terrible accident and needed several surgeries. hospital food was terrible, but there was a M&S food store in the lower level of building, I sent an e-gift card to her family to help them get some great food , they were very grateful!

Bought for a friend. She told me that there was no women's changing room. Just one for men, and one for "trying on" in the women's department. She asked staff if it was the female changing room and was told it was for everyone. Wouldn't have bought it if I'd known M&S has such contempt for its female customers.
