We bought four pillows - all 90cm wide - two 'firm' and two 'medium'. I don't know how M&S measure the firmness of their pillows, or if there is any industry standard, but what I do know is that the firm pillows feel more like 'medium', and the medium feel more like 'soft'.

Purchased this pillow online a week ago, as I have been suffering with neck discomfort my current pillows aren’t really comfortable anymore. Well I’m delighted, I am a side and stomach sleeper and have found my sleep much better with this new M&S pillow. It’s bliss to rest into and you wake with no neck ache. A joy to go to bed now. My only disappointment was as this pillow is XL ( 90cm x 50cm) I had to buy a pillowcase from another department store as M&S and I went in person to The Meadows store in Camberley Surrey, and tried online but M&S disappointedly don’t have XL pillowcases.

Nice long pillow but not much filling and went flat as soon as I put head on it so I have to scrunch it right up for a little bit of support, as a single pillow I would not recommend but would be okay if you had 2 of them

Purchased a 4ft bed (for single use) usual size pillows are far too small for this bed but the larger 'king'size is just right. Also purchased Protectors and pillow slips to match whole set perfect. Pillow is supportive but not hard even with protector and pillow case on.

I was looking for a replacement for a cluster fibre pillow for my king-size bed. There is not much choice in king-size pillows. I bought a soft-medium one from a competitor which turned out to be too substantial, so I had a look at M&S, where I read the reviews and found this soft-medium feather and down pillow which some purchasers had complained was too soft. On the basis that "one man's meat is another man's poison" I decided to abandon my search for cluster fibre and go with old-fashioned feather and down. I'm glad I did since, like Goldilocks, I find this pillow "Just Right": soft and snuggly.
