I bought these as I needed new pillows. I always buy m&S firm pillows so these sounded idea, especially as I sleep on my side. I did check the reviews and although a couple of them said they were not firm the majority did. Very excited when they arrived, beautifully stored in a bag. I could tell as soon as I got them out that they were not firm at all but I have tried using them. They do not give the support I need in a pillow. Very disappointed with them. I swapped to my old pillows and they are much firmer even if they are over 2 years old. The new pillows will be going into the spare bedroom instead. As Liverpool does not have a homewares section now I will have to buy my pillows elsewhere as I cannot take a chance on not being able to feel them before I buy again.

Nice pillows that have plenty of filling and seem to be of good quality. Only had them on my bed for a week but they are comfortable to sleep on and so far are holding their shape.

Finally! A pair of pillows that are actually firm without being wobbly. I hate "bouncy" pillows which a lot of so called firm pillows are. I have arthritis in my neck and the last thing I need is trying to sleep on a bouncy castle! WELL DONE M&S! xx

This became more of a medium pillow very quickly. Because the filling is treated with something and kind of slippery, after you've lay down it slowly moves towards the edges of the pillow, or collects in a big clump behind your head. This means your head sinks down alot, so after about 5-10 mins there's no real support. It's extremely annoying.
