Ditsy Floral Midaxi Smock Dress

I saw this on line and bought quickly in my size (12) as often this size sells out fast. It fits a little bigger than an average 12 which is fine as the style is quite loose. Though described as midi it is quite long more a maxi which suits me better as I am tall.

The colours are much brighter than in the picture. Fortunately, I like them..

This dress looked good in the photos but in a size 12 was too big for me on the top. I am a typical pear shape and returned this. I have bought others in the collaboration.

Couldn’t get this first time round so ordered the girls large which fitted,then the adult size 8 became available so I ordered that,I love the dress but have to shorten it but I will get there in the end.Please make Ghost dresses in a length to fit shorter people.

Bought a size 16 because that was the only one left. It would have been okay, but then a 14 became available. Size 16 is on its way back. Absolutely gorgeous dress, Hangs beautifully and such a pretty pattern..

It took me a while to get this, because as soon as sizes came in they were snapped up. Persevere if you want it. I'm 5'4" tall and a standard size 12, smaller in M&S. I waited for a 10. It is lovely, I could have fitted into an 8, so you need to downsize. It is pull on, no pockets, lovely, versatile fabric and it comes mid-calf on me in heels. The bodice with its ruching is the main feature and is very contemporary whilst being a little retro. Buy it if you can. Hugely recommended.

I am a women in her seventies brought this dress on a whim in lockdown, it’s great, best garment I have purchase from M&S for a long time. I am a size 14, that’s what I ordered slightly big, but too tight would not look nice. My only critism is the length, I am 5ft4, comes nearly down to the ground, also the sleeves were too long, so I shall have to alter, could you please think of us “small” people, and make two lengths in future

This dress is exactly what I expected. It is very accurately described on the website and true to colour. It suits all ages, is very wearable and comfortable as well as stylish. It can be worn throughout the year and look formal or informal according to shoes and other accessories. I also find it true to size, despite other reviewers opinions. I think I was lucky to get one of the last orders as it has now disappeared.
