I bought these originally in the short length as I'm 5 foot 3, but I found them too short and they didn't sit like they do on the model in the photos, so I reordered the regular which I'm happier with. A nudge long, but I just pull them up on my waist a little more and they are just right. I would suspect if you're taller than 5 foot 5 you'd need the longer length. They are true to size, and a comfortable light fabric. Really high waist which I prefer, the pockets on the side and even the back are real. I would definitely recommend, they look really stylish and flattering.

The trousers were just too the colour I was looking for but the fabric was stiffer than I expected and the trousers were very tight around the waist although they fitted perfectly elsewhere.

These wide leg chinos are fabulous! They are beautifully made and i will be wearing them all through the autumn, winter and spring. They look great with light or dark coloured tops and I usual finish the outfit with a belt to emphasise the high waist. High quality and very good value for money. Thank you M&S!

Quite a heavy-weight fabric so these trousers hang well. I did need to shorten them 4cm but this was straightforward. Possibly a tad narrower in the waist than some trousers of the same size but the waistband is stretchy so not an issue. Overall I am pleased and the navy colour matches well with so many of my tops.

These trousers are very comfortable with added stretch. I'm having to buy wide-leg trousers, however, I found out recently that the 'carrot' shape also fits my legs, it would be good to have this shape added as an option.
