What we come to expect from the Autograph range, good quality. Would be better to place the label of the shorts somewhere more comfortable though not right on the small of the back

I would question the modern M&S quality against the old ‘St Michael’ brand but the ‘Autograph’ range although more expensive better reflects that old standard of quality. These shorts are well made with good quality 62% cotton material and have been washed without problem. The medium is a good fit and not too short but as previous reviews the draw strings are superfluous.
