Cotton Rich Regular Fit Shirt

I bought this for my husband and the colour and pattern were nice and the general fit was good and as expected, however, he doesn't wear a tie to work and this collar does not work with the top button left open. I'm not sure why this is, but it was the same for every shirt we tried of this range - we ordered 3 online in different patterns and all would not work with top button undone - the collar will not sit open but sits closed even with the button undone, which doesn't look good. We had to buy the more expensive soft cotton twill instead. I think the fabric on this is just too stiff - which is another negative, it looks nice, but doesn't feel nice (but is perhaps to be expected, given that this is fairly cheap, so it is only a small criticism, I would not expect a shirt this cheap to be too soft).

Purchased in purple and it's a lovely shade, fit is a little bit large around the body, but fits perfectly on the neck & arms. Crisp cotton & easy to iron.
