Split Front Poncho

I found the poncho much too big, and didn't like the contrast stripe on the shoulders. Really thought I would like it but even when I tried the black or camel side it didn't do anything for me, shame! I always read reviews but I like to make my own mind up.

Like the look of it on line, when I tried it on it was border line wether to keep it or not but it was £20.00 and I thought that was reasonable.

Not very impressed with quality or style, therefore returned.

I have this delightful unusual poncho in Navy/Royal Blue and wear it (sometimes reversible) over navy and/or royal blue cashmere sweater with jeans. At 82 years of age, delighted to receive regular admiring comments from passers-by. I would love more in bright colours please to lift the spirit on a dull day and bring on a smile - so keep this style coming M&S.

Having read other reviews, I agree that this is easily reversible if you carefully unpick the label. It's then even more versatile and looks really good, especially with accessories, such as a long necklace. It's not thick enough to be a protective layer against the real cold outside, but certainly ideal for going places by car and not wanting a bulky coat.

The poncho is versatile in that it can be worn showing either side. I did think that the poncho would be more heavy in weight, however, it will be fine for Spring or Autumn wear.

This looked beautiful online but when I tried it on the split at the front was so unevenly cut, it looked like it had been cut with a blunt pair of scissors. I was so disappointed I returned it to the store and went and had a look at the ones they had on the hangers and unfortunately they were the same. So lovely colour, lovely shape but sadly poor quality

I felt the poncho looked very smart with my new black Wide Leg trousers also purchased from yourselves

I was delighted when I first received the poncho but it soon turned sour after wearing it only once - it clicked and pulled so easily and left bobbles all over the front. Looks good quality but not on wearing I also ordered the over colour but I sent it back as I knew it wouldnt wear well like the one I had already worn

The Newcastle Stylist Katrina and l noticed this on our way to the tills and it ticked all my boxes for style, quality suitability and price. I am not a cold person so do not wear thick coats, jackets or jumpers but this will work for me with a light jumper underneath. It was the navy and cobalt one l bought and l did not realise it could be reversed until l read the review of the first lady so l carefully removed the label and will notify Katrina that it can be done so she can tell her other clients.
