Soft, pastel colour, feel comfortable and sit like a second skin. No riding. Really happy with these- I like a high leg but that often comes with a very narrow side. These are perfect. Pity I can’t find them in store ( hopefully they’ll appear soon) and have to order online.

The best thing about these knickers is that the cotton gusset is stitched to the main fabric. Previous M&S “no VPL” knickers the gusset was only glued on and always came away after a few wears with pantyliners. That said, the gusset part is narrower than expected and uncomfortable as a result. As others have said these are not true “no VPL” as you can see VPL. I do not recommend buying these and am annoyed with myself for buying 4 pairs in 1 go (different colours).

I was disappointed with these knickers, maybe I should have selected a size 14, I usually buy a size 14 but have recently lost weight. Earlier this year I bought M&S chinos size 12 which were an excellent fit, these knickers were too cut away at the front.

I have purchased several different types of the no VPL knickers and I won’t be purchasing any more. The gusset shrivels up in all of them and it’s so uncomfortable. They do feel amazing whilst wearing but the gusset eventually shrivels. I wonder if they were tested or trialed properly. Have only ever purchased my underwear from M&S and just so disappointed. Not an issue you want to raise in store but did plan to email.
