These do keep springing holes, but are actually cotton and not the polyester that leaches into children’s thinner dermis. So we’ve come back again knowing that the past couple of years we’ve had at least a couple of pairs spring holes at the seams or in fabric generally that’s cut so close to the seams it comes apart it material so thin that holes appear (as with the leggings). Just noticed an overall decline in quality at M&S and no longer a premium product. Rather pay more to buy once. Note though that we are no longer getting school clothes from here when it has all the forever chemicals added for ‘no stains’ and ‘easy iron’ etc. parents, check the labels!! We would rather have better quality, no chemicals pure cotton than the stuff being sold right now for children.

The size for 5-6 yr olds is a little too small for my just 5 yr old granddaughter.

I've been buying these pant for my daughter since she was no age and they're great. We're now at the stage of buying the biggest size :-)
