Returned, not the same as before

No, I don't recommend this
Sadly the style of these high rise shorts are totally different to my previous orders. Much bigger at the sides and lower on the legs. Like a full brief. Also bigger. I really didn't like them at all so have returned 2 packs for a refund. Very disappointed that M&S didn't mention the change in the description.

Not a great style

Used to buy low rise shorts but they now seem too low at the front so I tried high rise shorts with lace at the top but not really keen on the elastic round the leg. Not sure why they've renamed midis to shorts. Without the lace edge top these look like I'm wearing my granny's knickers. They are too big and a couple out the pack seem bigger than the others.

These knickers used to be a better quality. Also the style has changed. They used to be midis then went to high rise shorts. Now more like shorts. Most uncomfortable. Please bring back the original midi. I am now looking to buy my knickers elsewhere.

Bought after carefully checking the exact name on previously purchased items so very disappointed to find they now have a much higher rise. Not comfortable so have to be returned.

Good value

I have been buying these (previously midis) for many years because they are so comfortable, and the elastic lasts much longer than knickers from anywhere else I have tried. very good value for money.

I had to buy these as I could no longer buy the midi's from m&s. Nice colours but would have preferred usual style. I don't know why things have to change if they work.

Longer than others I have bought which were supposed to be the same. Why did you stop making the midis?? Very disappointing to feel like you are wearing granny knickers!!

Finally... the perfect briefs!

Without exaggeration, it’s been years. I’ve tried the low end of High Street retailers, apparently ‘quality’ purchases online and even other M&S briefs. These fit, are comfortable (non-intrusive) and are well made. I know they’ll last like my other M&S ones did,

I was running out of pants and bought this pack of 5. Good quality and well fitting I would buy these again and would recommend them to a friend

Dreadful thin cotton, and no elastic around the leg. Unwearable.

These are huge, they have twice the height of the old high rise shorts, feels like they go up to my arm pits! what happened? Why have you done this M&S? Why change a good thing?

Not the same as the old midis!

As others have said these knickers are not the same as the ones shown on the website, definitely shorts, with a longer leg and deeper sides. I've worn M&S midis for more years than I care to remember but it looks like this style is no more. Having said that, the knickers are very comfortable but think I would need to size down if I bought them again.

Disappointing style chalnge

The style ‘high rise shorts’ was what replaced ‘midi’. Suddenly the style has been completely altered and I received gigantic, high-sided granny pants. I did not discover that I had got parachutes instead of pants until I opened the packet whilst in a remote location where shopping options are limited and I had no choice but to wear them. They are so tall that they went above the waist of my trousers. There were cows laughing at me. I now need to look for a replacement style - M&S - PLEASE BRING BACK MIDI KNICKERS!!!!

They are very comfortable, however they are more like full briefs than the old midis.

I always bought midi knickers but since theyve been stopped i thought id try these. Theyre massive. Already tried low rise shorts, too small. Feel like little red riding hood trying to find the right size. Now shopping elsewhere for pants.
