Poor quality and fit

Very poor cut & fit. Sizing and cut has now changed. These were an awful fit. Will not buy my knickers again from M&S.

Material was nice but do not fit well. Uncomfortable to wear.

A bit disappointing

These are very good value for money, nice colours and fabric. However, rather than being high rise shorts, there are definitely more like full size briefs, legs a bit low and waist too high, as some other reviewers have commented; hence only 3 stars.

Specifically wanted cotton ones. A bit higher waisted than I expected.

Disappointed

Not the same as previous purchases, material thinner and they are more like full briefs rather than the old midis replaced by high rise shorts which i've had before but this purchase is nothing like them so returned them

Good sizing and comfortable fabric. The colours aren’t too nice - quite dull and murky looking. Good value Gave 4 stars due to colours

Great quality pants.

Nice pants with a comfy leg line. Maybe come a little higher than I’m used to, but stay put and don’t roll down.

Very disappointed- bring back the midi brief

Bought these as midis no longer available/discontinued?. Too big - legs are too low and rise to high. These are more like a full brief only bigger!

Not the best

Not that happy with these shorts as although they fit well at the top the bottom of the shorts fit much lower than other M&S shorts, in fact they felt so low I kept having to pull them all the time.

I’ve only recently started buying high rise shorts after finding how comfortable they are to wear. They fit well and come in nice colours and patterns.

Poor description on packet

The quality and colour was great. But I was hoping for a midi style and these were full briefs- even though they were not described as full on the packet. I have returned one unopened packet and given the opened packet to charity. Please M&S get your descriptions correct, since changing to shorts instead of knickers/briefs, I don't know what to buy?

So disappointed

I bought these having been led to believe they replaced the no longer available Midis. They are however a completely different shape. It seems you no longer sell any like the formerly available Midi. Very disappointing.

I thought this five pack of knickers was good value for the price. Comfortable to wear and they wash well. However I was disappointed with the fit. I ordered high rise shorts but the fit seemed different to what I would normally expect.

Good basic

Fine basic knickers, can’t see much difference between these and full briefs. I bought these because they don’t have a stupid bow on the front which I always cut off.

Not the same!

I used to buy the midi knickers all the time, I thought M and S had stopped making them so was pleased when I found out they had renamed them high rise shorts ( although if it’s not broken why fix it!) I’ve had a few pairs and was disappointed when I bought the green pack to see they are not the same, I like to match my knickers to my bras but don’t like synthetic knickers only cotton or modal. These are very high and low on the legs ( which to be honest is what I’d expect of shorts ) but it was M and S that said they’d renamed them. So now I don’t trust buying online again and don’t have a local store, I’ve had Asdas midi’s which are great but they don’t always have a big range of colours, so I tried Next ( doubt this will get published) which had a plain pack of lovely colours and are nice although you have to size down, wish M and S wouldn’t change things and also why can’t they do more packs of just plain knickers ? I don’t want floral or patterned, give us the choice, they also changed the sumptuously soft bra and the new one isn’t as good

Style changed and no longer comfy.

Unfortunately, this product style has been changed. They no longer fit the same and they are huge? Completely different to the old style when held up next to one another. Really upset as these were my go to, and now they're uncomfortable.

Having bought these shorts before, I bought new ones for my holiday with confidence. I was so disappointed, they had no elastic in the legs! They are so uncomfortable. I later bought the next design of slightly larger ones. But they are too big. So so disappointed!

Misleading website photo shows midi briefs

Like other people, the knickers I received not what I expected from the website photo, which are the old midi briefs that i've been buying for years, and which I liked. I assumed M&S had changed the name, but kept the style. I don't want shorts
