These socks are perfect for wearing with my trainers as I find trainer socks uncomfortable to wear. They stay in position all day long and are so comfy and do not rub my feet. M&S socks wash well and stay in shape and I've yet to buy a pair that drops in holes when worn or washed. Must be well tested.

These socks are soft and have a pretty sole with differing patterns. I am though very disappointed in the robustness of them as on my first outing a walk of 5 miles round trip there was a hole in the sole. I look after my feet and can assure that I walking steadily over mixed terrain but mostly roadside pathways. I feel cheated about the quality unless you are just going to wear them after a bath my advice is not to bother with these ones.

What’s happened? When I bought them they were far too big and after one wash at lowest temp (no tumble) they have shrunk to half their size - can’t rely on Marks anymore
