M&S is always my go to for plain black socks. Comfortable, not too tight at the top, keeps my feet cool and not smelly. The heel does eventually wear out, but I've only just had to replace the ones I bought about a decade ago. Now I just need these in a merino wool mix or for cold weather.

Just perfect. I wanted a sock to wear with trousers and loafers - not too thick and comfy. These for me are just right - super soft and the right thickness. Really good value 5 pairs in a pack. Well done M&S.

Really disappointed. These socks fall down insode my boots and are not as long as previous versions. I think the new size ranges maybe partly to blame. I am a 6 so now have to buy 6 to 8, ratherthan the old 4 to 6

Nice and soft. These socks aren’t as high on the ankle as the photo suggest, the ankle covering is just a couple of cm making them unsuitable for autumn/winter.
