I was told these pants are a replacement for the 5 pack midi shorts which I have bought for years and years. Originally they were the same but now seem to be longer, coming higher up my abdomen so they are more like the full briefs. I mam disappointed.

I hoped that the shape and size of these would be nearer to my other midi knickers but this was not the case. These "shorts" are much higher on the waist and baggy around my legs. I will not be buying any more knickers from you as none of the other styles either suit me or are a style suitable for a 70 year old who still likes appearance and comfort

I have been buying high rise shorts for quite a while. I opened my latest purchase and found five pairs of old lady knickers! There was a sticker on the packet saying they had previously been called ‘midi’, whatever they are. Anyway I decided to keep the knickers hoping they would shrink in the wash and dryer. No they didn’t. They are definitely high rise. They nearly reach my arm pits. So, what happened to the original high rise shorts.

Very disappointed in these pants. Having wore the midis for years this new rebrand falls short of the original. They are too deep at the sides and not as stretchy as the old midis. Unfortunately I will not be purchasing again .

I've bought knickers from M&S for donkeys years, but when they removed midis I was unimpressed. It turns out they'd just renamed them to hi-rise shorts. The first few packs I bought were fine, but these latest ones are not. The sides are now approx. 2 inches bigger than before even thought the sticker stating that they used to be midis is still stuck to the pack. They are now more like full briefs which are still available to buy anyway. Had to keep one pack as I'd already opened it, but will be returning the other.

Good value and comfortable. These are like the ones that used to be called 'midi' a long time ago. The only complaint I have is that there are never many designs/colours to choose from in this style. I had to settle for the pack of plain colours with mostly blue
