These were marginally better quality than the high leg pants I ordered and returned. They are very thin cotton and not a patch on the M&S underwear of the past. Ok for the money

Not what I expected at all. Very large pants and about 2 inches deeper than previous similar styles. Came well over my belly button. I’ve had high rise before but not like these

Sent them back and actually filed a formal complaint about them to customer service. They are supposed to be the old midi knickers but they are not, they are at least twice the size of the old style and are genuinely horrible in both fit and material. Marks and Spencers need to bring back the old Midi Knicker and actually call them Midi Knickers, i am sick of having to trawl through hundreds of items to try and find the old style now labelled high rise shorts and when you buy them they are the wrong ones anyway.

I’ve always bought my underwear at M&S and liked the ‘Midi’ style. However this has been replaced with high rise shorts which are supposed to be the same. Unfortunately I don’t think they are. The leg is just too low. I’m now hunting for a similar style elsewhere.

I have bought M&S knickers for more years than I care to remember. The quality has always been dependable until now. These were thin and of the very poorest quality; they felt squint when on. Back to basics, please, M&S, do what you're good at.

Bought as a silly gift for my friend Sarah. We had been to one of your outlets a few days earlier and she had bought a 5 pack but was horrified when we got home and she looked at them as they weren’t the high rise shorts as it said on the pack - but granny pants! We had a right hoot about them. It was hilarious!!!

These knickers are a very odd fit and the cut is nothing like the earlier versions. They are not shorts as the leg elastic grips too tight and the sides are much deeper than before. They are more like a full brief. Also the fabric colour is bright white with a blue cast which I really dislike. All in all just a bit cheap and nasty, sorry ☹️
