Men’s Boxer shorts with a secret

After my husband’s unexpected bladder cancer diagnosis and now radical surgery as the only option, I wanted to be prepared with quality men’s underwear. I googled and M&S came up, after doing a comparison M&S came out on top from the design, fit, support, material, and price and quantity 3 in a pack, the tax relief was a bonus. My husband tried them prior to surgery and said the he felt supported and loved the inside pockets (Right and Left) for urostomy or colanostomy bag to keep safe and away from skin, we sized up to XL as L was snug and there would be swelling post-op. As we thought at present the compression of the boxer’s are a bit to much in these immediate early days, however overall we are giving 4 stars and would highly recommend to any other men with stoma bag as the pocket holds the bag discretely and securely Suggestion: What would be great is available in more colour choices as men feel very vulnerable at this time and still want choice of colour for their underwear also maybe a choice of compression perhaps a less firm one as well. I absolutely love M&S and gold ⭐ for being sensitive enough to stock the boxer’s so men can shop in store or online and not have to feel different after their traumatic diagnosis and surgery. WELL DONE M&S more colours more choice please then would give an extra star.

Ineffectual

No, I don't recommend this
Obviously I have a stoma and I bought this product hoping that they would keep the stoma bag secure and close to my body also limiting its visual impact. In reality the pants don’t stay above the stoma bag and secure it, they slip down and cut the bag in two putting pressure on the seal around the bag and the body. Too much pressure it turns out!

These are a revelation and clearly designed by someone with a real knowledge of life with a stoma. Yes, they are vice-like in their grip if you choose a size akin to your regular requirements. However, for me, with a not uncommon parastomal hernia to also contend with, along with the associated daily worn support belt, that is an absolute God-send. All my previously bought specialist underwear products from a couple of manufacturers have all been discarded as these are so good. And the excellent price is just the icing on the cake. Thank you, M&S, for bringing these to market. Now, if you would like to turn your attention and skill to trousers and shorts, that would be appreciated too.

Exceptional quality but need to go up a size

Very good value for 3 boxers but because the elastic and the material are very tight i would recommend going up at lease one maybe two sizes if the stoma is new due to swelling as my husband had xl but there far two tight

My goodness - these are a revelation! So comfortable to wear and the high waist covers and supports my Stoma Bag perfectly. I wish I'd discovered these sooner. Excellent value for money and better quality and support than the others from specialist suppliers. Well done M&S ! Ostomates thank you!

I bought these as I’d had a recent Stoma, but despite trying L and XL they were very tight, I’m not that big, and actually forced the contents of my bag out twice, on both occasions of wearing them. It could be bad luck but I’d say there was a design flaw

I bought these for my husband and although I had to get a larger size (the size is smaller than the usual sizing) they are great quality and good support when going out to functions. Thank you M&S for being the only main retailer to produce underwear for Stoma patients!

My partner has had 2 stomas for some time and we haven’t seen anything like these on the market. They were recommended by his stoma nurse to help keep the bags contained in the correct position and they also make his trousers and tops look neater and not so bulky. Having a high waist also adds to the comfort. I would really like to thank M&S for taking the initiative to produce these pants and I’m sure with the right marketing will help many other men who are not aware this product exists.

The product is great but the sizing is to limited they need to go up to 3-4 XL for larger men with Stoma’s as they are a necessity comfort item.

Bought these for my husband who is new with a stoma. Firstly, amazing M and S do such a product. As previously said by others had to go a size bigger. The only problem is means though fits around stoma nicely the trunks are then looser in the rest of the area. So good but not Perfect.
