Good Slim Fit School Shirt
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
My daughter wanted a slim-fit shirt for school. She is 168 cm tall. We first bought the 12–13 size, but she felt very uncomfortable when she raised her arms, although the body fit was fine. Then we bought the 13–14 size. The body size did not change much, but the sleeves were much more comfortable. Also, the collar works well with a tie.

Chosen by my granddaughter

Yes, I recommend this
My petite granddaughter who will be 13 in a few months is wearing 11-12 slim fit. Prefers short sleeves that she feels more comfortable under blazer or jumper. Fit is very good and quality is perfect.

Poor fabric quality

No, I don't recommend this
Fabric very thin and see through. The shirt was meant to be slim fit, but was very loose fitting.

These shirts never let me down - they wash well and ironing them is indeed as they advertise - very quick and easy. I only have to replace them as my daughter grows - great quality.

Over the top packaging but good shirts.

Good shirts but WHY so much packaging? It is utterly over the top and leads to even more creasing.

Material great; sleeve fit, not so much so!
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
No, I don't recommend this
The fit on the main body was good but the fit of the sleeves was not good. The angle or shape of the sleeves restricted movement too much to be wearable. I would return if had not already washed! Such a shame because previous size of same shirt was perfect and my daughter had been able to wear it for longer than normal.

True to size and a good fit for a slimmer girl, no need to size up or down. Good quality material, very soft, much better than supermarket shirts.
