These shirts are wonderful. My son has sensory issues and dyspraxia. As a result, he has difficulty button and unbutton. These shirts have been an answer to our prayers. He no longer stresses about PE days and struggling to get dressed / undressed. Additionally, the cotton is super soft and comfortable. Well done M&S .

No, I don't recommend this
The quality of the shirts seemed ok but it was very strange that the size 16-17 had velcro instead of buttons, I didn't read the description

My son has sensory difficulties and dyspraxia among other conditions and at tender age 11 still did not master dressing and buttons. As he joined high school and he has to get changed for PE we was worried he would not manage. His lovely tutor recommended this shirt from MS and we tried it and it is a hit. There is no labels and fabric is soft which is great help too. Wish you had more products like this

These are fantastic for my son. Hes a bigger lad for his age so struggles with buttons still. These are good quality shirts and he no longer worries come P.E time if he can fasten his buttons. You can't see the valcro and they look smart when on.

Unclear

It is really unclear when ordering that this packet of shirts is Velcro - my son’s school disallows this and it would have been helpful if the packet actually said this . Thank you

Easy Dressing means Velcro!

No, I don't recommend this
This was a mistake on my part but feel it still needs a negative review as it wasnt very clear on ordering. These shirts are velcro all the way down the button strip which I hadn't realised until I'd washed the shirts and couldn't return them. I understand there is possibly a need for shirts like these for older children (I ordered size 13-14) but it definitely needs to be made clearer on ordering.

No good for a clip on tie.

No, I don't recommend this
They're very soft and easy to put on, but having no experience with clip on ties before, I did not realise these would not work. I've tried making a hole where the top button is but because the entire length is velcro, the tie clip gets in the way and the shirt falls open. Going to have to bin all of the easy dressing ones I bought and hope for the best with traditional shirts. It's a real shame when 3/4 senior schools in our area use clip on ties, so it can't be uncommon.

Strange change

No, I don't recommend this
Bought these for my son last year because he struggles with his top button. They just had a little piece of velcro at the top. Now they have changed the shirt to full Velcro which is not ideal for autistic children because it adds extra potential for discomfort. I kind of understand why they think this would be easier because I have cerebral palsy but this just doesn’t look the same as a buttoned shirt when worn. Luckily, M&S haven’t changed the easy dressing plus fit shirt so I’ve bought those instead, even though my son doesn’t need plus fit.

Misleading description

No, I don't recommend this
Poor review is due to misleading description. These are velcro shirts. The images show a shirt with buttons and is described as easy dress. There is no mention of velcro on the packaging.
