Love M&S shirts usually but last packet one of the shirts split within the first few week of wearing them back to school so had to buy this pack 6 weeks later , hoping it was just a one off faulty one as never had a Problem for years using them

Non iron boys school shirts

No, I don't recommend this
Well packaged. Sizing came up on the small size, both in length and width. The fabric was of a good quality, also a good white. The buttons were quite difficult to open - very stiff to unfasten, plus small buttons. Could pose a problem when changing for PE lessons where time getting changed matters! Had to open the packaging to discover these problem areas. By the time I’d moved on to then removing the plastic clips and the collar inserts etc it made returning the shirts almost impossible. I kept them and hopefully my grandson will get a school term out of them.

Ok not as good as previous years

I always buy my children’s school shirts from M&S but I must say this year I feel disappointed because the fabric feels so much thinner and slightly transparent my son will always now wear a vest under the shirt whereas previous years there was never a need to it was more of an option if the weather was colder. Hopefully M&S can manage to find another supplier of materials and make better quality shirts in the future.

Very disappointed with the quality of these shirts! I have bought school shirts for my sons for the last 6 years from Marks however, this year 2 of the 4 shirts I bought have torn/ripped in the first couple of days of wearing them.

Fine but non crease free
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
Crease quite easily for non-iron, strange musty smell when they first arrived which did wash out; quality, style and fit are fine, material a bit silky rather than natural feeling bit I guess that’s the non-iron content. Bit expensive for what they are. Would have rather bought a pack of 5 rather than in 2’s, which forced me to buy/pay more than necessary. 5’s were sold out

Nice shirts. We have had the same ones many times. It was good to be able to try all the sizes in store before ordering. They have a slightly blueish hue at first, presumably due to optical whitener but look fine after a wash
