16 Piece Vintage Dinner Set

Purchased as a replacement for everyday crockery. I was looking for lightweight bone / fine china. These are much heavier than I imagined they would be but I was so taken with the pretty pattern, I decided to keep them. They are an off white colour, rather than brilliant white but I think this adds to their charm. The pasta bowls are huge. I haven't used these sufficiently to advise on wash and wear but they do appear to be good quality.

Love this set. They sit beautifully on the dining table and have a simple, elegant design. They are practical too, as many of the newer sets on the market don’t fit in the dishwasher.

Lovely old fashioned plates, a bit too heavy though.

Thicker and more solid than expected but that makes them more durable. The embossing is subtle so they are not too girly. I think you could have soup or cereal from the larger bowls. A great price!

The order arrived promptly containing the pretty set of dining ware and mugs. As others commented it is not fine china but probably sturdier for the every day use I ordered it for. Excellent value as I purchased at 50% off. Love it

I got this in the sale and I have to say it is stunning. The plates and dishes are just the right size. I’ve already had lots of compliments on it. Well done M&S absolutely love it.

Lovely quality dinner service. Microwave and dishwasher friendly.

Like the embossed pattern on these plates. There are four small bowls and four larger ones which could be used to serve a mains course . The dinner plates are nice too and are a good size. The dishes are very heavy and a bit bulky. However hopefully they will last a long time and get lots of use

Unfortunately the 4 cereal bowls from this dinner set were all ‘wonky’ and whilst custmer service acknowledged that the product was poor and provided a partial refund, it was unbelievable that the bowls went through the suppliers inspection line without being noticed.

This is the most stunning set of plates i have ever bought. My family says tgey make food look delicious.

Delighted with our new dinner set, light cream in colour and with the textured pattern on the edges make it easy to manage.

Fell in love when I saw this set. Shallow cereal bowls, that you cannot get more than the correct portion in. Bowls also don’t stack very well, as if each is hand made.
