No, I don't recommend this
I have always had previously robust square Maxim porcelain dinner services that lasted me years at home and bought for my 3 sons when they set up their own. This new Maxim is thin and easily chips. Disappointing quality not behaving as porcelain. Preferred square version. Glad I only got 8 not 12

Bought this set for everyday use. It’s good quality and a nice white colour, sometimes other crockery looks greyish. A decent size and the bowls stack together nice and safely, no wobbling.

8 place settings purchased in January '23 . Normal domestic usage. In the December a dinner plate was found in halves whilst stored in the cupboard. In April '24 a similar thing happened - but in this instance it was a cereal bowl. A side plate similarly fractured of its own accord whilst in a plastic washing up bowl a few days later.
