Bought the same garment a year ago but the design features are different. There’s no zipper rear pocket. Disappointed as it’s one feature that led me to re-purchase. Was it a design fault? M&S please help

I have bought a number of pairs (8) of these chinos this summer and been really pleased with both the fit and quality. However, I noticed the most recent pairs did not have a zip able pocket at the rear which is frustrating because that is where I can securely store my phone when out walking. Otherwise I would have given a 5* rating.

Bought as replacement for previous M&S ultimate slim chinos and found the quality of this version was inferior and the leg lengths were longer than actual size I usually wear. Such a shame as these were best chinos around but the quality of them now is not what like what they used be.

These are the only trousers that have the size fitting for a reasonable price. Bought 30 waist 35 leg. Ideal for tall slim son. Only wish they were available more often and in a greater choice of colours in this size. The stock goes very quickly so i would guess there is a demand for extra long lengths. Would like them available an even longer leg as at 6ft 5 a 35inch just about fits. Great quality for price.
