Pure Silk Hair Bonnet

It didn't slip off in my sleep, i can tie it around the hair

I like this bonnet a lot, it’s a good size and it ties on to the head very nicely, but unfortunately the silk material is very thin, and it wouldn’t surprise me when wearing a crocodile clip in the hair that the clip could pierce the material. In addition to this I haven got much confidence in the elastic on the headband giving out. It seems weak but only time will tell. It’s expensive for what you get, so I would have expected more quality materials.

I bought this because it was one of the only bonnets I could find that is made from silk rather than satin. I'm pleased with it so far, but I haven't washed it yet so can't comment on how well it washes or its durability over time. When I put it on, it doesn't feel super secure compared to some of the cheaper polyester bonnets I've used, but that's of course because the polyester ones have elastic in the ribbon band, which makes it feel more secure. So far, it is about as good at staying on overnight as the others I've worn.

Absolute waste of money as far too big. I tried it all ways and eventually pulled it off during the night. I'll just put up with messy hair. At least it gave my family a good laugh when I put it on.

I bought this to keep my hair from tickling my face when trying to sleep with a fan on during the recent heatwave. It works but, due to the forehead-band not being elasticated, the bonnet drifts down over your eyes during the night. The tying-ribbons don't stay in place, either. But I've inserted a length of elastic inside the forehead-band and sewn either end in place and this works better. Also helps my hair from getting frizzy on very hot nights.

Quality is good but it’s not practical at all. It falls off your head straight as u put your head on the pillow because the whole thing is silk. Other competitors in this niche aren’t like that.

Remains on whilst sleeping which is what I was hoping for .

This bonnet is top quality. My hair does not fry out and hairstyles stay intact. It ties nicely and stays on until morning.

I’ve tried the turban style bonnets for my fine 2b/3a hair and they never quite work out - always end up sliding off my head as I sleep, and it’s hard to get my hair nicely piled into them. This one is brilliant! More comfortable to wear and also more secure, it stays on all night and I have lovely silky hair in the morning! None of the frizz I otherwise have. It’s not as attractive as the turban versions - those feel quite chic. This makes me feel like little bo peep and I would absolutely not open the door in it. But it’s worth it for what it does for my hair

Great for longer hair. Ideal if you don’t like bonnets with elastic in them.

This is very good quality and prefer silk over satin bonnets. Plenty of room so if you have lots of hair, you should be able to get it all in comfortably. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 as only half the bonnet is elasticated and would have loved it to be all the way round.
