The colour is subtle and matches my bedroom exactly. It has a good shape on the corners so slips easily on the very deep mattress with lots to tuck under. It feels lovely to lie on and the sheen is noticeable and looks luxurious. The pillow cases are slightly bigger than my last M and S buy so they are great to put on the pillows.

The material is lovely and smooth, can't fault the quality. The issue I have is it is a bit too deep for my mattress so it goes baggy on top, even if I lift my mattress and tuck it right under. A bit too annoying so a waste of money for me personally. My advice, double check the depth of your mattress before ordering.

Sheet is of beautiful quality but the 'duck egg' colour is nowhere near the colour of the previous sheets I have purchased from M&S and therefore do not coordinate with our current bedding. Maybe 'duck egg' has had a colour shade change but it is a significant difference to the two I already have. I briefly checked the packaging and the label to see if it was a packaging error but it was not, therefore reluctantly I had to return the item.
