I’m so glad I went for the more expensive summer dress. Yes it’s a bit more fiddly to iron and if you don’t want a dress you need to iron then don’t go for this one! But it looks and feels like such high quality and very smart on.

Lovely to find 100 percent cotton summer dresses. Luckily I read other reviews regarding the dresses shrinking when washed, so I sized up. Washing instructions were followed and the dresses were not tumble dried, however they still shrank considerably.

I actually returned this item as I was so disappointed with it. One of the most expensive on the high street, but came out of the machine like a rag. Really difficult to iron. Much preferred the pack of two which wash beautifully and were only a couple of pounds more (for both). Avoid unless you really enjoy ironing!

Plus side : 100% cotton (difficult to find) Downsides: frivolous bow which is time consuming to get right every morning. Gaps between bottom button and material is too wide - doesn’t not look right. Creases easily. Overall , a bit disappointing but kept for the material. However , had to buy a different one as my little one doesn’t like the gaps and finds the bow a hindrance.

The cotton is lovely , well made summer school dresses . The reason I am giving only 3* is that unfortunately it shrinks when washed significantly despite washing at 30 degrees and not 40 as recommended on the instructions . I would suggest going up 2-3 sizes to get the size you need after washing
